It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using ‘Content here, content here’, making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for ‘lorem ipsum’ will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like).

To start our tour, we welcome you into our purpose-built meeting room to provide a tour briefing and to explain what you will see as we walk around the factory. Then we hit the shop floor for the factory tour so that you can understand what goes into making Vinaquartz products. Finally, the tour is finished with a summary and Q&A session back in the meeting room.

Step-by-Step Guide Through Our Manufacturing Process

The quartz slab manufacturing process at our facilities involves several crucial steps:

  1. Material Preparation: Selecting and blending high-quality natural quartz and binding compounds.
  2. Slab Formation: Pouring the material into molds and compressing it under high pressure to form the slabs.
  3. Fabrication and Polishing: Cutting the slabs to specified dimensions and polishing them to achieve a flawless smooth surface.

Focus on Quality Control and Standards

Quality control is a cornerstone of our operations as a leading quartz slab manufacturer. At Vinaquartz and Dragon Quartz, every stage of production is rigorously monitored. From the inspection of incoming materials to the final checks before dispatch, each quartz slab is required to meet strict technical and aesthetic standards. This ensures that our products are not only visually appealing but also functionally superior and durable.

Quality Assurance in Quartz Slab Manufacturing

Luxurious, durable, and easy-to-clean, quartz slabs have become a cornerstone material in contemporary interior design. As a quartz slab manufacturer, our industry continually evolves to produce a diverse array of slabs tailored to meet the specific needs of each project. However, selecting inferior quartz products can compromise the aesthetics of your space or lead to significant financial losses. To ensure the highest quality, it is crucial that the quartz slab supplier you choose adheres to the following essential standards:

  • Quartz Slab Dimensions:
    • Ideal for kitchen countertops and vanity tops: 126” x 63” (3200 x 1600 mm).
    • Standard thickness options: ¾” (20mm +/- 1 mm) and 1 ¼” (30mm +/- 1mm).
  • Finishing Product Dimensions:
    • Length and width: Allowed variance of +/-1 mm from the specified dimensions.
    • Thickness: Allowed variance of +/-1 mm from the standard thickness.
    • Tools for measurement: Tape measure and vernier caliper.
  • Flatness Tolerance:
    • Tolerance: ≤ 1mm per 1 meter of length.
    • Tools for checking: Spirit level and taper gauge.
  • Top Surface Quality:
    • Color must match the shade confirmed by the customer and the quartz slab manufacturer, with discrepancies easily noticeable from at least 1 meter being unacceptable.
    • Surface imperfections such as stains, rust, and discolorations are not permitted.
    • Inclusions larger than 1 mm that contrast with the background are considered defects if visible from 1 meter away.
    • Vein patterns must be consistent with the agreed design; variations in color or misalignment are unacceptable.
    • Glossiness must be uniform across the slab; any scratches or color shading are unacceptable.
  • Backside Surface Quality:
    • The backside must be flat and free from deformities.
    • No large areas of porosity are permitted.
  • Slabs are thoroughly cleaned before packaging.
  • Each bundle can contain 10-15 slabs, depending on thickness.
  • Slabs are wrapped in nylon or plastic, ensuring dryness and cleanliness.
  • Bundles are clearly marked with fumigation tags.
  • Strapping is newly applied to secure the wrappings.
  • Slabs are stored and transported vertically.
  • Custom packing requests are accommodated according to customer specifications.
  • Labels must be legible and positioned conspicuously to avoid being obscured by further processing.
  • Each slab is clearly stamped with the item number, manufacturing date, and country of origin.
  • Paper labels detailing the order number, color, size, and number of bundles are affixed to each slab.
